Street to Stage I-III is a project for and with young urban dancers from Cologne and the surrounding area who are interested in moving with urban dance in a stage context and trying out their first choreographic steps. In the three sub-projects URBAN RESEARCH, URBAN PROCESS and URBAN PRODUCTION, which were carried out over a period of two years, the dancers, who are active in the informal scene, were able to get to know artistic methods, develop experimental working methods and enter into a creative process of reflection and creation with Daniela Rodriguez Romero and Bahar Gökten from nutrospektif. In all three sub-projects, the artistic exploration always picked up on the realities and themes of the young dancers lives.
